2020 Goal: Complete Total of 100 Gift Sets To Be Given Out to Those In Need in Our Community.
Our goal is huge and cannot be achieved alone. Together we can make a difference. Happy Sheep Creations is looking for volunteers to join our family. You don't knit or crochet? No problem. You can help us decorate boxes or help assemble and package the gift sets!

December 2020
As 2020 is drawing to a close, so does our goal of 100 gift sets. The goal of making 100 gift sets for the homeless was a huge goal. I am proud to say that 24 gift sets were completed during this very crazy, stressful year. Yes, that is a far cry from our goal. Still a lot of items were made to help those in need in our community. Every gift set consisted of 3 knit/crochet items. That means that 72 handmade mittens, hats, baby blankets and scarfs were made this year. 72 items will be distributed into our community over the next few months.

Some of our baby/children items have already been distributed to the Catholic Family Center.
​
To me that is a HUGE accomplishment!

November 2020
The last few months were busily making hats and mittens for the little ones in our community. This month the gifts sets were completed. I am happy to report 10 gift sets of hats, mittens and a book were completed!

Sadly no gift sets were completed. However, lots of toddler hats and mittens were completed!

August 2020
End of Summer and 2 more Baby Gift Sets were completed! That brings the total to 14. Now that fall (and winter) is fast approaching, the knitting needles will be buzzing! Check in next month to see how many new gift sets got completed. 😊

Another baby blanket set was completed this month. The theme this month is bath time; this set includes a hooded baby bath towel, a washcloth with soap, and after bath time, GoodNight Moon to help baby fall asleep.

It has been a little mitten crazy here. As the end of January is fast approaching, the knitting needles are still going strong. So far this month, 4 pairs of mittens have flown off the needles. January will end with the finishing touches made to 4 beautifully decorated gift boxes. Each box will contain 1 scarf, 1 hat and 1 pair of mittens.
